And here's where Ed and I waited repeatedly for Pokemon beanies. I was very fortunate and got one; Ed lost out. He took revenge on Nintendo by repeatedly ransacking the Pokemon card booth and stocking up on special E3-Edition Pokemon Pikachu cards.

This car was completely full of Pokemon beanies -- to the ceiling! -- at the beginning of E3. This was taken at the end of E3, after the last beanies were thrown out. By the way, this was (in my opinion) the most hectic, crazed mass of people I've seen fighting for anything at E3, mostly because lots of people were greedy and wanted more than one. Come on, folks, "Gotta Catch 'Em All" is just a marketing slogan!

Trivia about the car: I heard they couldn't get any yellow volkswagon bugs when they were making these, so the cars were actually other colors and were painted yellow. Now I guess you can get yellow beetles.
